Application are invited in Standard Form as published in Assam Gazette in Part-IX from the Citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following post of Junior Assistant in the 0/0 District Election Officer, Bokakhat & 0/0 District Election Officer, Dhansiri, Sarupathar under the Amalgamated Establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat in the Pay Bands & Grade Pay with other allowances as admissible under Rule as shown below.

Age: Candidates must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years as on 01.01.2018. The upper age is relaxable as per the existing Govt. norms.
(a) The minimum educational qualification of the candidates shall be a graduate in Arts, Science & Commerce from a university recognized by the State Government or a Degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government.
(b) Candidates must have proficiency in Basic Computer application like MS Windows, Linux, Mac, Excel, Power Point, DTP (English & Assamese) and Internet etc. Candidates must possess a minimum 6(six) months Diploma in Computer application/ knowledge from an institute recognized by the Government.
Application Fee: Application fee Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred fifty) only and for SC/ ST/OBC Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred & fifty) only. For candidates having BPL F.I. Card: Rs. No Fees required Fees should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0070-Other Administrative Services-02 Elections-800-Other Receipts.
How to apply: The Applicants must submit the following documents/testimonials along with application.
(a) Self attested photocopies of all certificates/mark sheets in support of educational qualifications & other required qualifications. Age proof certificate, Caste Certificate if applicable, valid employment exchange registration certificate etc.
(b) 3 (Three) copies of self attested recent Passport size photograph. (One of which should be pasted on the Application Form).
(c) A self addressed envelope affixing Postage Stamp of Rs. 5’00 must be enclosed along with the Application Form.
(h) Original copy of Treasury Challan of application fees payment / Attested copy of BPL F.I Card (if applicable).
A selection Committee shall be constituted to select the candidates for the post of Jr. Assistant. Candidature of candidates is provisional and the Committee has the right to accept or reject the candidature of any candidates at any stage of recruitment after proper scrutiny of the documents/ testimonials etc. Incomplete / Unsigned Applications will be rejected.
All the candidates should input their own / father’s mother’s mobile phone numbers in the application form properly. Besides the calling letters will also be issued through Post as well. However, if any bonafide candidate does not receive the call letter before the written test/ interview, they he / she collect the same from the Recruitment Counter, D.C’s Office, Golaghat. No admission to any examination Centre.
The Date and Venue of the Written Test/ Interview will be notified later on. Those Candidates who will qualify in the Written Test for the post of Jr. Asstt. will be called for Computer Skill Test.
